Requires Respiratory Care Practitioner license and NBRC credentials within 12 months, BLS, and an associate degree in respiratory care. Casual Pool A, multiple days/nights, one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care or equivalent required.
• Licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner in the practicing state.
• Active NBRC credentials within 12 months or CRT credential prior to 2023.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ventilators and assist with bedside procedures.
• Provide prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, technique and self-care.
• Maintain equipment and report safety concerns.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
