Merit Health River Region is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to administer respiratory care, assess patients, and implement treatment plans under physician orders. You will document care, monitor responses, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARRT credentials (RRT) with BCLS/ACLS/PALS; NICU duty may require NRP and STABLE. Full-time days with comprehensive benefits and sign-on incentives are offered at Merit Health River Region.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT certification required.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS required within 30 days–as applicable.
• NRP/STABLE certifications required if NICU duties arise.

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Performs ABG punctures and documents results.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Maintains and sanitizes respiratory care equipment.
• Ensures infection control and PPE protocol compliance.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly in EMR.
