Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a full-time Day shift. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory diseases, deliver ventilator support, and perform diagnostic tests per the provider’s orders.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RT program, a current Kentucky Respiratory Care license, and NBRC-credentialed RRT or CRT. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Current Kentucky Respiratory Care license required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by NBRC required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory diseases and conditions.
• Deliver medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by the provider.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive ventilator support for acute respiratory failure.
• Perform diagnostic test procedures as part of patient assessment and management.
• Assist in departmental operations including quality improvement projects, equipment and supplies.
