Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro seeks a Respiratory Therapist to assess cardiopulmonary status, develop and carry out care plans in inpatient and outpatient settings, and educate patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Casual position with incentive pay and a base hourly rate based on experience. Wisconsin license requirements include CRT, mandatory RRT timeline, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• CRT certification required.
• Wisconsin license required.
• RRT within two years of hire date required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s cardiopulmonary status and develop, revise, implement, and evaluate a respiratory care plan.
• Use established practice guidelines and clinical judgment to support outcomes.
• Identify outpatient needs and provide education and referrals.
• Educate patients, families, and the health care team.
• Interact with patients and ensure safety.

In this role, you will assess cardiopulmonary status, develop and carry out respiratory care plans, support outpatient needs, educate patients and families, and work closely with the care team to promote healing and optimal health.
