Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Hillside, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our post-acute rehab team. You will conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, administer therapies, and collaborate with physicians to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license (Required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine respiratory care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and self-management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care.
