Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a seasonal temporary role to support patients with cardiopulmonary conditions in a busy healthcare setting. You will perform respiratory assessments, administer and monitor therapies, and help implement physician orders.

You will document care in electronic systems, ensure infection control, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes while adapting to fluctuating patient needs.

Qualifications

Respiratory Therapist (Seasonal Temporary)

Support patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will perform respiratory assessments and implement physician-ordered treatment plans, including administering and monitoring oxygen and aerosol therapies. Manage and troubleshoot ventilators as needed, obtain and interpret arterial blood gas samples, and deliver appropriate respiratory care based on clinical findings.

You will document all patient care in electronic systems, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and maintain high standards of infection control. Provide patient and family education, and coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal outcomes.
