Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care within a 200+ bed acute care facility. You will assess, plan, and deliver respiratory treatments, manage ventilators, and perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.

Collaborating with physicians and the care team, you will educate patients and families, uphold safety and infection control standards, and contribute to documentation in a patient-first, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) in NH.
• Experience in an acute care/ICU setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory treatments.
• Manage ventilators and related equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies with timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and safety protocols.
