Shriners Children's in Philadelphia is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care under physician supervision. You will obtain orders, assess patients, set up and monitor therapy modalities, and perform EKGs with POCT documentation.

The role requires an RT license in the state, and BLS; preferred credentials include PALS and ACLS. Eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to work across pediatric settings.

Please to learn more about our locations.**CURRENT EMPLOYEES**: Please log into Workday to apply internally through the \"Jobs Hub\"**Job Description**The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care and life support to patients with abnormalities and deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system by prescription and under the supervision of a physician.**Key Responsibilities*** Obtains physician's order 100% of the time prior to initiating therapy.* Able to appropriately assess all patients before and after therapy is delivered 100% of the time.* Sets up all routine therapy modalities according to policy and procedure 100% of the time.* Able to set up and monitor all life support equipment according to policy and procedure 100% of the time.* Able to set up and perform EKG's on patients in a timely fashion.* Able to perform all POCT including controls, proficiencies and documentation.
