Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team. You will perform patient assessments, implement respiratory care protocols, and assist in critical care in adult areas, including blood gas analysis and equipment management.

Education required: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences. Licensure in Georgia and certifications (RRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS within 60 days) are required to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure required for respiratory therapists.
• Excellent clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of adult critical care protocols.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
