Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team. This full-time role supports adult patient care with a focus on assessment, therapy, and education, 7pm–7am, with a sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, administering respiratory therapies, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient education. Requires A.S. in Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• Licenses: RRT credential and Georgia state licensure upon hire; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within required timeframes.
• Experience: No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas.
• Blood gas analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Provide patient education and support critical care protocols.

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 Days Required
