Job summary

Morgan Hill Healthcare Center in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing and therapy team. The role provides respiratory care to subacute and long-term residents, following physician orders and state regulations.

You will monitor respiratory status, manage ventilators and oxygen delivery, document treatments, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RT license in good standing (state-specific).
• RRT or CRT certification accepted.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments (nebs, oxygen, trach care, suctioning).

Respiratory Therapist (RT)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilledRespiratory Therapist (RT)to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients.

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed
