NurseDeck Inc. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. You will assess, plan, and implement treatments, manage ventilators, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize respiratory function.

The role requires an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, a valid license, and experience with mechanical ventilation; a Bachelor's degree and RRT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification as required by the state.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and respiratory care procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and other respiratory treatments.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and other respiratory treatments.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
