Job summary

Aspirus, Inc is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist for Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, Michigan. The role requires providing respiratory diagnostics and therapy services across various care environments for patients of all ages.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of respiratory care standards, an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care, and licensure as a Michigan Respiratory Care Practitioner. Full benefits are available including PTO, retirement plan, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• RRT or CRT certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

• Work in a variety of care environments.

Skills

As a RESPIRATORY THERAPIST with Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, you provide respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring diagnostics and therapy services to patients of all ages in a variety of care environments.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of respiratory care standards and protocols normally acquired through graduation from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care with an Associate Degree.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or Biological Sciences beneficial.
• One year of critical care experience and experience in pulmonary function or cardiopulmonary lab beneficial.

Licensure

• Active Michigan Respiratory Care Practitioner license required. RRT or CRT
• Registered RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care, or registry eligible and obtained within one year of hire.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. NRP and PALS preferred.
