The role requires handling critical care, ventilator management and neonatal/pediatric procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of RT experience, a Colorado RT license, NBRC RRT, and current AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist (RT) – PEDS – located at the healthcare organization. This position involves providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels, including neonatal and pediatric patients in the Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role requires an experienced practitioner capable of handling critical care and ventilator management in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Details

• Position involves providing Respiratory Therapy services in a hospital setting, focusing on pediatric and neonatal patients, including Level 2 NICU.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license, NBRC RRT certification, and a minimum of 5 years of RT experience. Must possess Neonatal and Pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU, with advanced ventilator skills. Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Schedule: Rotating shift work involving 3 shifts of 12 hours each week, including days, nights, call, and weekends. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional information: Must provide proof of flu vaccination by November 1, 2026, with no declinations accepted. Out-of-state agencies must comply with Colorado’s radius requirement and registration criteria.
• Submission requirements include Skill Sheet, AHA certifications, Colorado RT license, resume, and proof of flu vaccine.
