Job summary

Nexushm is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality resident care and respiratory treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, document activities in patient records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and QA guidelines.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with physicians and nursing staff, and ongoing professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification in Illinois.
• Knowledge of respiratory care practices, physiology, and pulmonary treatments.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.

Position Overview:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident care and treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, administers patient care, and document the activity in the patient's medical record in accordance with facility policies and procedures, HIPAA guidelines, and Quality assurance guidelines.
