Job summary

Nexus Health in Elmwood Park, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality resident care and treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, administer patient care, and document activities in the medical record in accordance with facility policies, HIPAA, and QA guidelines.

You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, consult on therapy effectiveness, and serve as a resource on respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification in the State of Illinois.
• Knowledge of respiratory care practices, physiology, and pulmonary treatments.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
