Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to join the night shift team. The role involves patient assessments, critical care procedures for adults, blood gas analysis, and equipment management to educate patients and families.

Required qualifications include an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy with RRT certification, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 60 days). State licensure must be active upon hire, and a sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
• Provide education to patients and families; ensure equipment readiness and safety; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
