Job summary

Pacific Hills Post Acute in Morgan Hill seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing facility team for Friday through Sunday per diem shifts. The ideal candidate provides respiratory care to subacute and long-term patients under physician orders and facility policies.

Responsibilities include administering neb treatments, oxygen therapy, ventilator management, patient monitoring, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current RT license in good standing (state-specific).
• RRT or CRT accepted.
• BLS required (ACLS preferred).
• SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments (nebulizers, oxygen, trach care, suctioning).
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status.
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients.

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
