Bethesda North Hospital’s Respiratory Therapy team practices in a large, growing tertiary hospital and regional heart center licensed for approximately 397 beds. Our RTs deliver high‑acuity, autonomous respiratory care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including advanced ventilator management, intubation, and active involvement in cardiac surgery recovery, LVAD care, and ECMO ramping. Bethesda North is recognized regionally for excellence in cardiac care and holds Blue Distinction recognition for cardiac services; the campus also serves as the designated trauma center for northern Cincinnati, giving therapists broad exposure to complex, time‑sensitive cases and opportunities for clinical growth. This position will provide respiratory care in all patient care settings. The duties include the administration of all respiratory care therapeutic modalities, management of mechanical ventilation, and the assessment of the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy administered REP. Additionally, the practitioner will assist in the clinical education of Respiratory Therapy Students and participate in diagnostic activities such as ABG procurement and analysis, bedside pulmonary function testing and hemodynamic and other noninvasive procedures.
