Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments to evaluate respiratory and cardiopulmonary function in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
• Develop and execute individualized respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians and other care team members.
• Administer advanced respiratory therapies including ventilator management, HFOV, inhaled Nitric Oxide, and aerosolized medications.
• Provide critical support in PICU and NICU environments, ensuring the highest standard of care for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and patient response.
• Accurately document all treatments, assessments, and clinical decisions using EPIC EMR.
• Educate patients’ families on respiratory conditions and post-discharge care where applicable.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to decision-making in high-acuity care environments.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• RRT certification required; CRT may be considered based on experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Staff-level experience in PICU and NICU is a must.
• Demonstrated expertise in using HFOV and Nitric Oxide therapy.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and care coordination.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Advanced understanding of pediatric and neonatal respiratory pathophysiology.
• Experience in ECMO support environments is a plus.
• Proven ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
