Responsibilities

• Performs department equipment processing and stock disbursement; maintains department equipment in operating order and stocks medical supplies and gases.
• Performs equipment disinfection as directed by policy.
• Performs equipment function checks after cleaning and setup; documents functions.
• Participates with respiratory therapist in oxygen rounds and managing medical gas tanks.
• Conducts EKG, Holter Monitor, and Event Monitor testing per policy.
• Administers respiratory therapies under direct supervision of a staff therapist.
