Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in a Respiratory program.
• Experience in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field preferred but not required.
• Required to have and maintain American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department equipment and stock supplies, including medical gases and office supplies.
• Performs equipment disinfection and documentation of function checks.
• Participates with the respiratory therapist in oxygen rounds and managing medical gas tanks.
• Conducts EKG, Holter Monitor, and Event Monitor testing per policy.
• Administers respiratory therapies under supervision with a valid Missouri student permit.
