Job summary

MemorialCare in Laguna Hills, CA seeks a Manager of Respiratory Services to lead the Respiratory Therapy department and drive quality of care across the organization.

The role partners with the VP/CNO and Medical Directors to plan, develop, and monitor department goals, manage staff performance, and oversee budgets and equipment for Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. It requires 5+ years as an RCP in acute care, a CA license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an RCP in an acute care hospital.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Current California RCP license required.
• NBRC RRT credential preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Respiratory Services and ensure high quality of care.
• Oversee staff performance, budget, and equipment management.
• Collaborate with VP/CNO and Medical Directors on strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, DHS).
• Foster collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality care.
