Job summary

GSK in the United States is seeking a leader in respiratory epidemiology and real-world evidence to shape vaccine development worldwide. You will partner with Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory, Health Outcomes, and external collaborators to design studies on disease burden and treatment patterns.

The role is hybrid, requiring on-site work at one of the listed locations at least two days per week, with responsibilities including mentoring staff and disseminating findings through

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics or related.
• Minimum of 5 years epidemiology experience in respiratory pharma or applied research.
• Experience with real-world data sources (claims, EHRs, registries) and study designs.
• Experience leading pharmaco-epidemiology or RWE programs in vaccine development or lifecycle contexts.
• Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment and influence stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for epidemiology program for assets or disease areas, including budget and planning.
• Provide expert epidemiological insights to cross-functional asset teams.
• Lead and oversee complex epidemiological studies and partnerships.
• Identify and build new opportunities, methods and external collaborations.
• Lead departmental initiatives driving innovative tools, methodologies, or processes.
• Mentor junior staff and researchers, fostering development.
• Represent GSK in scientific interactions with governance bodies and regulators.
• Plan and coordinate dissemination of epidemiology data in publications and meetings.
