Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse - Respiratory (Bronchoscopy) for 36 hours per week across three day shifts. The role requires a nursing degree, RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact licensure, and BLS with ACLS within 30 days.

You will support respiratory patient care, coordinate with departments, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Ideal candidates have inpatient ICU/ER experience or strong floor experience, and must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for respiratory patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and supports direct care givers.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission and standards.
