Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to join our clients Call Center team in Paducah, KY. The role provides telephonic clinical support, guiding patients and caregivers through respiratory equipment use and CPAP compliance with empathy.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and state license in home state required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent accepted for consideration if combined with RN credentials.

Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate and patient‑centered Respiratory Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to join our clients Call Center team.

In this role, you provide telephonic clinical support that directly impacts patienthealth, comfort, and confidence. You will guide patients, caregivers, and fieldstaff through respiratory equipment use, CPAP compliance, and troubleshooting with empathy and clarity—offering reassurance during moments when patients may feel uncertain or overwhelmed. Your ability to listen, educate, and supportremotely plays a vital role in improving respiratory outcomes and ensuring patients feel cared for, even from a distance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient ‑ centeredtelephonic support within a 24/7 call center rotation, offering calm andreassuring guidance during after ‑ hours needs.
• Conduct empathetic phone consultations for AHCClocations, helping patients and caregivers navigate respiratory concerns with clarity and confidence.
• Counsel and re ‑ educate non ‑ compliantCPAP patients with encouragement and understanding, reinforcing the healthbenefits of therapy and addressing barriers with sensitivity.
• Gather information from patients, caregivers, and field personnel regarding equipment concerns, troubleshooting issues withpatience and a supportive approach.
• Enroll patients into CPAP compliance programs, explaining the purpose and benefits in a way that empowers and reassures.
• Maintain a working knowledge of basic insuranceguidelines to help support patient needs and care continuity.
• Maintain all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education to ensure high ‑ quality, evidence ‑ basedrespiratory support.
• Determine when a physical visit is necessaryafter all remote measures have been exhausted, coordinating care with empathyand urgency to protect patient wellbeing.
• Monitor patient progress according to insuranceguidelines and established timelines, advocating for patient health throughoutthe compliance process.
• Protect patient and company information withdiligence, ensuring confidentiality and trust in every interaction.
• Provide clinical support to field personnel, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance that strengthens patient careacross the organization.
• Deliver patient education withcompassion—covering equipment use, maintenance, safety, therapy expectations,and the importance of compliance.
• Review manufacturer systems for compliancetracking to support accurate, patient ‑ centered follow ‑ up.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensurepatients receive reliable, empathetic, and clinically sound respiratorysupport.

WorkSchedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CST

On‑Call: At this time, the on‑call rotation runs every 4–6 weeks, covering from Friday at 5:00 p.m. CST through Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. CST, depending on staffing and business needs.

Requirements

Required Education and/or Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Credentialsas a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Licensedin primary state of home office as required by state law and provide acopy of license to the location

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Completionof an accredited program/degree in respiratory care/therapy or relatedscience is preferred; nursing or other paramedical training may beacceptable depending upon state licensure laws
• MaintainCEUs as required by state law, and if not required by state law, thenmaintain a minimum of 4 CEUs per year
• Mayberequired to obtain license in neighboring states as required by servicearea of location
• Experiencewith home respiratory care, preferred
• Oneyear of related work experience, preferred
