Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Respiratory Practitioner II. You will guide patients through routine and critical respiratory care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with invasive/noninvasive ventilation across settings. Access advanced tech, mentor from RT leaders, and join a collaborative team.

You will implement and coordinate respiratory care procedures per departmental policies, ensuring safe, effective patient care and ongoing professional growth in a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential (RRT/CRT) required or grandfathered.
• Active Colorado Respiratory License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS and NRP preferred.
• Graduate of AMA accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
• Minimum 6 months of prior experience in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine respiratory procedures and assist with special procedures within scope.
• Maintain clinical competence, follow universal precautions, and clean equipment.
• Provide consultation, collaboration, and education to medical staff, care teams, and patients/families.
• Support Swedish Memorable Care initiatives for patients and staff.

Education
