Job summary

MED-STAT HEALTH CARE INC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in the New Brunswick area of New Jersey. Night shifts 19:00–7:30, 3x12 hours per shift, with weekend rotation.

You will evaluate patients, recommend respiratory treatment plans, and work with families to explain procedures. Required NBRC or state licensure, CRT or RRT, BLS; infant/pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC or state board credential required.
• State licensure required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of respiratory care and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
• Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations

Job Summary

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team! This is a 13-week travel contract Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30 in the New Brunswick area. As a Respiratory Therapist on the team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients undergoing many different procedures and medical situations and making recommendations for an appropriate respiratory treatment plan. You may also provide respiratory care to medically fragile or complex patients, insert or remove endotracheal tubes, and work closely with the patient and their family to ensure they understand what is happening every step of the way. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.
