Job summary

MED-STAT HEALTH CARE INC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in the Montclair area. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (19:00-07:00). Responsibilities include evaluating patients, recommending respiratory care plans, and assisting with procedures.

Travel experience and NBRC/state licensure are required, with weekend coverage and on-call shifts as scheduled. Minimum 1 year of experience is required; ideal candidate has strong bedside manner and knowledge of respiratory

Responsibilities

• Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients

Job Summary

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team! This is 13-week travel contract Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) in the Montclair area. As a Respiratory Therapist on the team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients undergoing many different procedures and medical situations and making recommendations for an appropriate respiratory treatment plan. You may also provide respiratory care to medically fragile or complex patients, insert or remove endotracheal tubes, and work closely with the patient and their family to ensure they understand what is happening every step of the way. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.

Shift details: 3x12 Nights

Weekend coverage every 3rd and 3 on call shifts per schedule for staffing callouts

Minimum 1 year experience
