Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional in the United States to educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, indications, and product safety profiles. You will drive sales performance, work toward territory forecasts, and complete required trainings to stay compliant with company guidelines.

You will develop deep knowledge of the market, demographics, and managed care, and partner with leadership to execute local strategies while capitalizing on formulary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of medical/pharma industry preferred.
• Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to educate healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, indications, and product safety profiles.
• Engage in dialogue with HCPs to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
• Operate with sales proficiency to meet forecasts and territory budgets.
• Complete training requirements, including product examinations.
• Build and maintain knowledge of market, demographics, and managed care information for the territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director on local strategy and business plans.
• Capitalize on formulary approvals and opportunities through strategic targeting plans.
