Job summary

You will collaborate with Respiratory Therapists to manage inventory, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold infection control practices while delivering high-quality care to long-term ventilator and pulmonary

Qualifications

• Healthcare or medical equipment experience preferred.
• Respiratory, DME, biomedical, or central sterile experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and test respiratory equipment before reuse.
• Perform routine checks on ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP devices, oxygen concentrators, aerosol equipment, suction devices, pulse oximeters.
• Coordinate repairs with biomedical engineering or approved vendors.
• Deliver respiratory equipment throughout the facility and prepare equipment for new admissions.
• Maintain equipment cleaning logs and preventative maintenance records.
