Job summary

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Must follow written and oral directives and departmental policies.
• Must be accurate in checking, posting, counting, procedures, and instrumentation interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain procedures, repair and preventive maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Perform daily processing, disassembly, testing, and assembly of respiratory care equipment per dept procedures.
• Assist in department equipment inventory and calibration scheduling; deliver to Bio Medical Engineering as required.
• Move equipment to patient care areas as directed by the RCP and assist the respiratory care team.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in Respiratory Care units and perform par stock per policies.
