Job summary

Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland, is seeking an Equipment Tech to respond to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinders. You will maintain respiratory care equipment and supplies, and support preventive maintenance with Clinical Engineering.

Under minimum supervision, you will assist the respiratory care service staff and help bring equipment for service, contributing to safe and reliable patient care and operations at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an approved Respiratory program.

• Respond to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinder needs throughout the hospital.
• Maintain respiratory care equipment and supplies and support preventive maintenance with Clinical Engineering.
• Assist with handling compressed gas cylinders and support the respiratory care service staff.

Summary

Under Minimum supervision, the Equipment Tech responds to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinder needs throughout the hospital. Responsible for the maintenance of respiratory care equipment and supplies. Works to support the Respiratory care service staff. Assists with handling of compressed gas cylinders and supports preventive maintenance needs with the Clinical engineering staff by tracking and bringing equipment for service. Performs all duties that are required of a respiratory care support services technician.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma
• 1-3 years Preferred

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Must be enrolled in an approved Respiratory program.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $24.75 Based On Experience
