Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Equipment Technician to perform daily rounds, stock respiratory and medical gas supplies, and manage inventory for the department. The position requires knowledge of infection control, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a High School diploma with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year hospital experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds to assigned areas to deliver, check, change, and set up equipment.
• Stock respiratory and medical gas supply equipment in all patient areas.
• Direct supply-chain management for ordering, stocking, and inventory of respiratory therapy supplies.
• Maintain respiratory supply areas to optimal par levels and coordinate with nursing leaders.
• Provide non-direct patient care support services for the respiratory therapy department.
