Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Respiratory Supervisor to oversee the respiratory departments, assess education needs, and ensure high-quality patient care. The role involves acting as a physician/patient/staff advocate and a technical resource for optimal respiratory treatment administration.

Requirements include an NBRC-approved Respiratory Care program, NV licensure as an RCP, NBRC RRT/CRTT credentials, and AHA BLS certification (instructor preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NBRC approved program in Respiratory Care.
• Must be licensed by Nevada Laboratory for arterial puncture/blood gas analysis and licensed by the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners as an RCP.
• Credential by NBRC as RRT or CRTT.
• BLS CPR certification by the AHA; BLS instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the respiratory departments and participate in assessing, planning, organizing and evaluating education needs for staff.
• Act as physician/patient/staff advocate and technical resource for optimal administration of respiratory treatments.
