Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires collaboration with physicians and nursing staff within an interdisciplinary team to promote recovery of respiratory function.

Responsibilities include performing SVN, IPPB, CPT, USN, ABG sampling, oxygen delivery, and CPAP/BIPAP management while ensuring safety and documentation across patient records.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed within 6 months of hire date.
• Michigan license as Respiratory Therapist within 3 months of hire date.
• Certified BLS Provider (AHA) within 1 month of hire date or as instructor.
• NRP certification preferred, if Special Care Nursery position accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient cardiopulmonary status and plans treatments.
• Review physician orders and patient data to establish treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses on therapy modalities.
