Job summary

Unity Health in Searcy, AR is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care across hospital areas including special care units. You will maintain documentation and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

This role requires graduation from an accredited CRT program, NBRC certification, AR licensure, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Must be able to lift, assist mobility, and work in safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program and satisfactory completion of the NBRC certification.
• Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Arkansas. BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required.
• Delivers appropriate care to patients across age groups with age-specific considerations and communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and visitors.
• Safety Sensitive: YES

Responsibilities

• A certified therapist who is responsible for respiratory care given in any area of the hospital including special care units.
• Maintains appropriate documentation as required by administration, state, and federal authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• May be assigned supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.
