Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a valid RRT credential and current state license.
• Minimum of four years' experience as an RRT with at least two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Complete all certification requirements established by ODCTE for your certification area.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Teaches students using instructional methods aligned with best practices.
• Instructs in theory, professionalism, and clinical competencies for credentialing/licensure.
• Evaluates student achievement and maintains attendance/academic progress records.
• Provides supervision in the clinical setting and assigns learning experiences based on objectives.
• Develops and maintains curriculum to implement competency-based instruction.
• Collaborates with clinical affiliate adjunct faculty and industry partners.
• Assists in preparing program reports, budgets, and advisory activities.
