Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes for a Program Coordinator, Respiratory Care to join our team. This role coordinates and implements instruction and support for the AS Respiratory Care program across FSW campuses.

The DCE works with CoARC accreditation requirements to ensure clinical education sites meet standards. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, an active FL RRT license, an RRT credential, four years as a registered respiratory therapist (two in clinical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Active, unrestricted FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
Valid RRT credential.
Four years of experience as an RRT, with at least two in clinical respiratory care.
Two years of teaching experience in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor.
Willingness to travel to all FSW campuses.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement instruction and instructional support for the AS Respiratory Care program.
Serve as Director of Clinical Education (DCE) in accordance with CoARC accreditation requirements.
Ensure administrative and operational oversight of the clinical education component complies with accreditation requirements.
Travel to affiliated clinical sites and FSW campuses to support clinical education.
