Job summary

Providence Health and Services’ Covenant Specialty Hospital in Texas is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to plan, prepare, and deliver a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. You will document all care on appropriate records, inspect and operate respiratory equipment, and assist with patient billing, while supporting our patient-focused mission.

• Must have AMA-approved Respiratory Care degree (or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care) and 1 year of experience.
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License required on hire.
• BLS provider certification (American Heart Association) on hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire.

Required qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program at an AMA approved college/university -OR- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved college/university in lieu of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience.
• 1 year Experience (May include clinical portion of training program).
• Upon hire: Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Required within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• Required within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Flight Training.
