Job summary

Providence Mount Carmel Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment under physician direction. You will play an active role in in-service education and quality assurance while aligning with the organization’s mission and values.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (AMA accredited).
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license required upon hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or to be completed within specified timelines.

• Participate in in-service education and quality assurance programs.

Description$20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.Under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services and upon the request of the physician sets up and operates, according to established departmental policies, various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. Has an active role in in-service education and quality assurance program. Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, AMA accredited.
• OrBachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, AMA accredited.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
