Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to plan, prepare and deliver a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Texas. You will document all respiratory care on patient records and assist with billing while inspecting, testing, maintaining and operating respiratory care equipment.

Texas license and BLS are required on hire; ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care from AMA-approved program.
• 1 year of experience (may include clinical training).
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days.

Required qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Program at an AMA approved college/university -OR- Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved college/university in lieu of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience.


• 1 year Experience (May include clinical portion of training program).


• Upon hire: Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License


• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• Required within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association


• Required within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Flight Training.
