Job summary

Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the Sleep Lab. The full-time position reports to the charge supervisor and supports patient care across ages.

The role requires WA licensure, AMA Respiratory Care education, NBRC Sleep Disorders within 2 years, and recent Sleep Study experience, with strong bedside skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Sleep Disorders Specialty - NBRC within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain or restore maximum function of the patient's cardiopulmonary system per physician orders or protocols.
• Work under supervision as charge; interpret operating procedures and protocols for patients of all ages.

Responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations. Typically reports to the supervisor who evaluates ideas. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity. This position shares supervision as \"charge.\" Supervision is usually of approximately three employees.
