Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient pulmonary care and manage care plans, documentation, and equipment troubleshooting on a daily basis.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, an associate degree (AA/BS in Respiratory Care), CRT, RRT, Maryland license or eligibility, and BLS certification; AC LS and PALS preferred with one-year targets.

Qualifications

• Certification as Respiratory Therapist (CRRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care procedures and tests per policy.
• Maintains documentation of Respiratory Care interventions (Care Plans, Kardex, daily data).
• Troubleshoots basic equipment problems.
• Tags and logs broken equipment with problem notes.
• Demonstrates compassion and skill while addressing patient needs.
• Documents medical notes and confidentiality-compliant records.
