Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Must possess a valid Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.

Job description

The respiratory therapist is a professional paramedical specialist. The therapist is required to have thorough knowledge of all modalities of respiratory care procedures. The therapist must always keep in mind the extreme critical nature of all respiratory care techniques and is required to maintain skill levels to reflect the ever changing procedures and techniques of respiratory care.
