Qualifications

• Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• PALS certification required for pediatric and critical care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric critical care patients as directed.
• Manage and maintain respiratory care equipment and ventilated patients according to physician orders.
• Adhere to department policies and safety procedures; participate in quality improvement measures.
• Educate patients and families about therapies and care plans; support CPR and emergency procedures as needed.
