Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Golden is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for a diverse patient population in an inpatient setting. The role emphasizes routine and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintaining equipment, with opportunities to perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing as needed.

Candidates must be licensed in the practicing state, hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, and may require Nevada blood gas licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
