Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospitals of Miamisburg is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate must be licensed in the state, hold BLS and ACLS, and have blood gas licensure if in Nevada.

Education should include at least a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred. The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and may assist with phlebotomy and basic lab

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
