Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Hampden is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide high-quality cardiopulmonary care to a diverse patient population in our facility. The role emphasizes routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency procedures while maintaining equipment and ensuring patient safety.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state, hold BLS and ACLS, and have at least one year of clinical respiratory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
