Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver routine, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary therapies in an inpatient hospital setting. The RCP will maintain equipment and provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as needed.

Candidates must be licensed in the state, hold BLS and ACLS, and have a high school diploma or better; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
